Chef Taib joins us at Twist Restaurant from the grand Mayflower Hotel and is responsible for the seasonal Twist Georgetown menu, In-Room Dining and all special events at the Savoy Suites Hotel. We are proud to have him on our restaurant team, but more importantly, our guests praise him regularly. "The restaurant was excellent (especially the desserts). The Twist Georgetown Lounge is pleased to announce the return of Thursday Night Jazz! Relax and unwind in Twist Georgetown Lounge with sounds from DC Jazz favorites Said Tinat with vocals and bass with the talented Chauncy Harris. An accomplished musician, Said studied in Europe and has recently returned from France with a new album featuring lush harmonies and inventive rhythms. As a performer, Said Tinat has appeared at the Guitar Society of Washington and at concert series held at The American University, Music and Arts Institute of San Francisco, National Gallery of Art, The Freer Gallery, The World Bank, IMF center, Cellar Door Productions, and numerous embassies through out the world and major Jazz venues such as The New Morning and Ecole Atla in Paris. |
